We invite you to come with an open mind, ready to learn, be challenged, share, and grow.
A training unlike anything Fort McMurray has seen before.
Led by a registered psychologist, offering a distinct personal development and trauma-informed perspective. As we explore both the traditional aspects of yoga and the latest insights from modern science and psychology, this training will be deeply student-centered, prioritizing your individual growth. Whether you decide to teach or not, the impact of this work will be transformative. If you choose to teach, it will empower you to cultivate a more authentic, honest, and effortless teaching style.
A core focus of this training will be the development of each student as an individual.
Chelsea will create a safe, supportive space for students to confront limiting beliefs and fears, fostering personal transformation and growth. Throughout the training, students will explore the foundations of vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, prenatal yoga, and meditation. Upon completion, students will have the skills and confidence to guide these practices.
You can expect to be treated with respect in a safe, inclusive space where everyone is encouraged to learn, grow, and develop at their own pace. There will be a strong emphasis on both individual and group development, ensuring a beautiful and enriching experience for all!

YOUR TEACHER
Chelsea has been a dedicated yoga instructor for over 13 years, and before becoming a psychologist, teaching yoga was her full-time career. She has taught in a wide range of settings, from drug and alcohol recovery centers to working with professional athletes and collaborating with physiotherapists in pain care clinics. Chelsea has led international retreats, served as a Lululemon ambassador, and worked one-on-one with students in private sessions. Additionally, she has taught at yoga festivals and in numerous studios.
Chelsea brings a rich depth of knowledge to her teaching, having completed over 1,500 hours of yoga teacher training. Her education includes a variety of specialties, such as vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, yoga for pain management, as well as the study of the subtle body and meditation.
Building upon her career as a yoga instructor, Chelsea is now a registered psychologist, which further enhances the insight and wisdom she brings to her teaching. She combines intentionality, professionalism, and a compassionate understanding in every class, ensuring that students feel encouraged and supported. Chelsea holds high expectations for both herself and her students, striving to foster a training environment that is cohesive, productive, and aligned with each individual’s goals and abilities.
Chelsea’s journey into yoga began more than a decade ago, when she completed her first 200-hour yoga teacher training with no initial intention of teaching. That experience profoundly impacted her life, setting her on a path of growth and transformation that continues to shape her today.
We invite you to join Chelsea’s training whether you're certain you want to teach, are already teaching and looking to deepen your skills, wanting to take ownership of your own yoga practice, or simply seeking something to inspire and encourage your personal growth.
